Offline finding relies on Galaxy network to find the lost smartphone According to Samsung, Offline Finding makes a Galaxy device detectable as long as it is turned on without the need for an internet connection. This means the usual Find My Mobile feature won’t work if the phone has no internet connection. Now, the first thing most thieves do is take out the SIM card from the phone to deprive the handset of internet access and also make it offline completely. Once the feature is turned on, users can simply head to the Find My Mobile website, log in using their Samsung account and use it to find their lost phone even if the phone does not have internet connectivity.
